technique tuesday - embellishing layouts with sassy strands

Sassy Strands are a fun way to use fibers on your projects.  

Try this with sassy strands or any fiber for a fun look:

• Using three strands of ribbon or trim cut them a little longer than the width of a photo.  Use more economically by not wrapping the fiber strands all the way around your matted photo.
• Cut three or more stands about half as long as the first set of strands.
• Tie the two sets together in a messy knot, with varying lengths of fiber hanging from the knot.
• Postion off center for and wrap the ends around the back of your matted photo, and attach with adhesive.
