All you need is a bit of imagination to make gift-giving affordable and fun.  Here are two ways to get your kids involved and save money at the same time:

1. Before you purchase an expensive greeting card ( and let's face it...ALL the cute ones are pricey), make your own.  Kids can even create their own with left over supplies you have stashed.  If you need a little creative help with cards, Close To My Heart has two awesome card making books, Wishes and Originals.  They are worth every penny!
2. You can also make your own wrapping paper.  Buy any paper on the cheap, usually at an end of holiday season sale, turn it inside out and let your kids color away.  It's more fun and personal and way cheaper.

One great style tip from interior designer Andrea Monath Schumacher of O Interior Design shares in Colorado Homes magazine is to "Splurge on the little things for a rich look."  She suggests using expensive, high-end fabrics sparingly like on decorative pillows.  Choose a neutral palatte to easily change your room around by switching out flowers or differnt room accessories.  What a great idea!

Halloween acrylic album class Oct 24th RSVP the 15th

One of my Close To My Heart friends (my cruise secret sister Karen) gave me the cutest halloween album.  After the popularity of my Christmas acrylic album class I have re-designed this album special for YOU!  It is the perfect mix of shabby chic with fun seasonal cobwebs, fall leaves, swirls, buttons, spiders, purple, green and orange cuteness.  It will be complete after class and picture ready.  I promise that it will be the rave and envy of all who see it.  

It uses so many design elements, embellishments, ribbons, and stamp sets that to make it available outside a workshop setting it would be impossible.  The album would be well over $100!!

Halloween Acrylic Album Class

Get ready for a spooktacular project. Create the cutest Halloween album ever with
a shabby chic flair. We'll use rub-ons, dimensional elements, and staz on inks.
This hauntingly happy album features spider webs and other fun seasonal images.
It is too cute for words and will be all ready to add your holiday pictures after
class.

Techniques taught: using stazon inks, rub ons, dimensional elements
